“The Streets that Raised Us” is an illustrated zine that aims
to celebrate and educate people on hip hop culture in South Africa. The zine concentrates on four crucial elements of African hip hop, namely graffiti, rapping, breakdancing, and fashion, by highlighting the stories of local icons.
